A Delicious Drive

Receive an honorary culinary diploma as you experience first hand (or should we say “first mouth”) eating local in the Saugatuck/Douglas area.

Our Delicious Drive changes with the seasons to explore what’s fresh from the farm and new at the market.  Allegan County is the Blue Ribbon Winner in crop production, number of farms, and average farm size in Michigan.  Michigan is the second most diverse agricultural state in the country.

Our Delicious Drive will include niche farms in operation, including organic fruits and vegetables, artisan cheese producers, wineries, orchards, and earthenware potter.

The guided tour in our air-conditioned coach will feature the faces behind the “farm-to-fork” movement of Allegan County. For lunch, we enjoy and exclusive “chef’s table” at Fennville’s Salt of the Earth, savoring the local region’s freshest ingredients.

Yes, there is a winery visit on the Delicious Drive.  Wine and beer is included with lunch, and additional alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.

6 Hours long: starts and stops at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts
Includes all tastings and a “Farm to Fork” lunch at Fennville’s Salt of the Earth!
10:00 am – 4:00 pm:  Tuesday through Saturday, May through September
Private group tours available with flexible start and stop times.
Adults – $90
-$75/per person for groups of 8 or more
